We are going to Vienna for two weeks in September. Any suggestions on best flight deals are appreciated. We've never been to Europe but want to celebrate our 40th anniversary in Vienna.

Good for you !
We did our 40th with an 8 week trip to Europe, but that was 10 years ago. Look at www.kayak.com for flight options, and do not overlook Austrian Air who has had some good fares recently. With 2 weeks I would consider 3 destinations---Vienna, Salzburg , and Munich. There are easy train connections between. I would do this sequence:
Munich--3
Salzburg--4 [day trips to lakes]
Vienna--6
That would be a great trip. Good luck !
