Is there a preferable day and time to visit Palatine Hill/Forum/Colosseum relative to the size of the crowds or flexibilty of hours of operations?
Or perhaps a better question is which times/days are best to avoid the visit?
Thanks in advance...bdj

Trip Ideas
The weekends are usually the most busy, as it is when people have off. Early Sunday mornings are not bad though.
Regardless, it is normally best to get to the Colosseum before 10am, as that is when the tour buses start to arrive in quantity.
