Best company/Tour for one day Amalfi Coast from Rome
I see walks of Italy has a 13 hour tour leaving Rome and going to Pompeii and Almafi Coast. It includes tickets and transportation. Has anyone done this? Is there any other company I should research? I'm interested in the coast most but we are going in March not great weather and we only have the day so will need to get back to Rome that evening. Walks of Italy has 15% off tours right now but its not a must I just would love to know who you all used and what you suggest. Thanks so much!

You need to understand that in March many places - hotels and restaurants - on the AC will be closed for the season. Also taking a ferry anyplace (gives best views of the towns on the coast) is risky due to a strong possibility of rough water.
Obviously you know it's too cold for the water, although you can walk along a deserted coast if you want.
I understand the desire to see Pompeii - and this is probably better when the weather is hellishly hot and there is no shade - unless it rains. But I don't get visiting the small towns of the AC in the off season. I would be more likely to visit the archeological museum in Naples.
Do NOT reserve the trip in advance since it will be miserable if you get a rainy day - but wait until the day before when you will know the weather. You can easily do the trip yourselves by train and pick up a guide at the entrance to Pompeii if you don't like the tour itinerary.

Thanks for the reply. This is likely my only chance to see the AC as I don't foresee us coming back for a very long time unfortunately. Since it is offseason I can probably wait to book

That's absolutely incorrect. No trains go to the Amalfi Coast and this is the OP's priority.
OP - I have done Walks of Italy's tours (in Venice) and they are absolutely worth the money. If this is your only chance to see the Amalfi coast then definitely go. You're not expecting to visit the beach so drizzly or rainy weather won't make any difference. I go there in the off season as I have family there and the lack of crowds is a blessing. There are still businesses open as people do live there and in March, they will be busy getting ready for the season so you will have more open then than in, say, late January. I would go for it. If it's raining on the day, don't be troubled as the coast has a whole different atmosphere in stormy/rainy weather - it is still beautiful!
