Best coastal town within 3 hours of Barcelona (with kids)

Jump to last reply

After Barcelona, we'll have three days in July to spend somewhere in Spain. We'll have kids (9, 7, 4) with us, and given the heat, a coastal town is appealing. Hoping to spend 3 hours in less in transit; train/bus strongly preferred over a rental car. Considering Cadaques and Sitges; Sitges looks easier to get to, but Cadaques seems more appealing. Is Cadaques the way to go, even though the train/bus looks a bit complicated? Or is there another area altogether we should consider? Thanks.
