Hi rhianapritchard,
Well, what's your idea of "nice"?
My idea of nice would be quiet, idyllic, green rolling hills, somewhere on a lake or within biking distance of a lake. For that, head to St. Gilgen.

You must tell us what you want to do/see.
When I travel I want to see every museum, cathedral and palace and spend time eploring cute neighborhoods and sitting in cafes.
A couple of days on a lake would be OK - but more than 2 and I would be bore stiff.
Who/how many are you and what do you want to see/do?

Hi. Thanks for your replies. We are a couple who will be on kind of a mini honeymoon I guess. Lakes and mountains would be fab, bit of piece and quiet but maybe close to some towns/cities to visit.
