Best Airline to use from Perth to Amsterdam
Hi
I am currently looking into booking my flights from Perth to Amsterdam in December 2014. Which airline is the best as far as price and comfort?
Thank you

I have flown Emirates from Perth several times and recommend them. At this time of the year the airlines publish "Early Bird" fares. Hopefully these offers haven't ended so get in quick. Terms are book and pay in full. Look too at Singapore Air, another excellent airline. You have other OK choices in Malaysian Air and Qantas.

Its too early to book for next year Dec 2014, also it depends in December when you are travelling, as the prices rise dramatically nearer to Xmas
Look at the prices for this year with www.bestflights.com.au
and see the differences

Hi reecefoster1989,
I would recommend Singapore Airlines first, followed by Emirates. It really depends on where you want to make the flight change – Singapore or Dubai.
Also, Singapore Airlines have slightly larger seats in economy whereas Emirates are slightly better in Business Class.
Singapore Airlines tend to have the best connection times as well. For example, you are likely to depart Perth at 3pm, land in Singapore at 8:30pm and depart for Europe at around 11pm. This then gets you to Amsterdam around 5:30 to 6am. All good.
The cost changes drastically depending on time of year and early bird specials. During April - August you can usually get around $1800-1900 for Early Birds. But travelling in the European winter months can cost more - up to $2600 or so.
Regards.

Hi reecefoster1989
I'm with steve above and recommend Singapore Airlines as well.
I have flown by both and Singapore win hands down in all areas.
Flights don't come out until 300 days before departure but you also must that into consideration if you intend to book a return flight. I let my travel agent know when I want to travel and she advises me asap when the earlybird specials become available.

I get into airports then sometimes, it isn't a big problem. By the time you get to your hotel, it may be 7:30-8. No, you won't be able to check in, but it will be open and you can leave your bags, at least.
