Berlin/Munich/Salzburg

Jump to last reply

I'm going to be heading to Germany in late June with my wife and two young children (6 and 4). We've got friends we're going to visit for a few days in Berlin and will then be heading south and were planning on seeing Munich and Salzburg over 7 to 8 days.

We've been to Berlin before and will be staying with people who live in the city so I don't feel like I need much help on that part of the trip. As for Munich and Salzburg, I'd be interested in any thoughts in how we should allot our time, particularly with the two kiddos. I'm also not committed to specifically staying in either location but want to see each city and feel that both would serve as good base of operation locations (for driving? or training to nearby locations).

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
