Hi,
I'm going to Berlin with friends early in December. During the day we're planning to visit many of the historical and cultural sites that make Berlin a must see European stop.
Famous for it's nightlife we'd like any advice on where (districts or area's) we should go... ? Wether it be treandy cool bars, off beat dark underground lounges or huge clubs we'd like to know where we should think about heading.
Also, any advice on where to stay would be much appreciated. Between 3 we're lookng to spend about 200EUR a night for 3 beds. We'd like to be in a centrally located vibrant part of the city, any advice for this?
Thanks.

How old are you ?
A trendy area for nightlife is the Oranienburger Straße, east off Friedrichstraße. Right at the corner, you find the Tacheles, a very special venue in the ruins of a former Jewish department store.
At the eastern end of Oranienburger Straße, there are the Hackesche Höfe. At the end of the first courtyard, there is the Chamäleon theatre with a kind of vaudeville show. I recommend it even for non-German speakers.
