Which of these hostels would be better?
The Circus Hostel or the Grand Hostel? We'd like to be centrally located.
Thanks!

I stayed at the Circus Hotel, across the street frommthe Hostel. Talked to a couple of hostel guests at the hotel bar and they were satisfied with their lodging (as I was very much with the hotel).
The location can't be beat. Right next to the hotel is a subway station, two stops from the Alexanderplatz. Acrossfrom the hostel is also a streetr car stop. I walked from the hotel to the Museums Insel.
Both seem to be very highly rated on Hostelworld (which is one of my go-to sites for euroepan hostels).
As treplow has mentioned, the Circus is more centrally located. I have stayed in the Wombat Hostel which is in the same location and transportation is really easy.
OTOH, the Grand is located in Kreuzberg, which is further away from central Berlin but has more of the socially active life - bars, restaurants, etc. than the Circus location.
It's all what you would want to be doing in Berlin and how far from the center you want to be.
Thanks for the info!
