Bergen or Oslo
We currently have the following plan
3 days (4 nights) in Copenhagen
2 days definite in Bergen
2 days definite in Oslo
4 days (3 nights) in Stockholm
Between Bergen and Oslo which one would you add another day too. What do you guys and gals recommend? They both seem like good places but I am not sure which one would be better.
Thanks for your help on this.

I would spend the extra day at Oslo. Bergen is a fairly small place and you can find more things to visit in Oslo.
I'm sure others will take the time in Bergen.
Maybe the best would be a slow drive from Bergen to Oslo with a car. There are spectacular views on this trip. There are two routes and both are lovely.

We took the Norway in a Nutshell one way from Oslo to Bergen in 2006, which takes a full day. It is well worth it, as you see sights you wouldn't normally get to see. Perhaps you could spend the extra day doing that! I agree that Oslo has more to see and an extra day there would be great. Having said that, Bergen was our favorite City in Norway. 2 days in Bergen should be adequate though. My vote would be to spend the extra day doing the Norway in a Nutshell tour.

We're doing something similar this summer without Stockholm (been there before, really pretty!). If you are doing the NIN between Oslo and Bergen, why not spend the night in Stalheim before continuing to Bergen? Or from Bergen, spend the night in one of the towns around the hardengerfjord?

Thanks for the information. We do plan on doing the NIN. I forgot to put that in between Bergen and Oslo. I think Oslo is a better bet after doing some more research. I would hate to feel rushed and it will give some time to relax after the long NIN trip.
Thanks again for the help.
