Berchtesgaden & Salzburg

Jump to last reply

Hi! My husband and I will be spending 5 days in Berchtesgaden and Salzburg in January next year. We want to visit Konigsee, a salt mine, national park, Salzburg and the snow fields (Jenner).

Is is going to be possible to access all these areas from Berchtesgaden without a car or will it be a huge pain in the neck? Should we be based at Konigsee instead? Any recommendations on accommodation would be really appreciated, especially accomm close to town

Thanks for any advice.
