Hi, I want to have trip to Benelux countries with my daughter for 9 days, beginning from this weekend (27 August to 4 september), I 've planned a flight to Amsterdam(Schipol)and then the same day to Luxemburg by train, stay 2 days in Luxemburg than to Belgium for 3 days and then to Netherland for 4 days and a flight from Amsterdam to my country.
I've few questions, I want to travel by train, and visit Luxemburg, Liege, Bruseels, Bruge, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Utrecht, my 1st question is : What is the cheapest (economical) way to buy train tickets, online before or at the stations one by one ?Is there any pass tickets for 10 days and unlimited ?(Benelux pass is only for 5 days and costs for me 220$ and for my daughter 185$ totally 405$ for 5 days)
2- Which places, (historical, touristic, museum, sightseeing etc) do you offer to visit in these countries
Thanks from now on ...

Are you going to use a base or travel and stay in each of the several places you mention - if so then just buy regular tickets as you go will not be that much as most are short trips - Belgium has some kind of day pass I believe but I think there are not any significant savings by buying online - I think you save one euro in holland by not buying from a ticket window - use the automatic ticketing machines that probably take your credit card if it is not an American credit card which lacks some kind of chip that European cards have - so you pay in Holland one more euro I think by buying at a window.
If day tripping in Holland Daag Retour - day return tickets can save a little.
the Benelux pass would cost more than regular tickets if going 2nd class I am sure.
as for which places what are your and your party's interests?
and for loads of great info on trains in those countries check out these IMO fab sites - www.ricksteves.com; www.seat61.com; www.budgeteuropetravel.com - check out the latter's free online European Planning & Rail Guide as it is IMO offers nice rail-oriented itineraries in Benelux countries.
I would make three bases if I were you - Luxembourg, Brussels (for Liege and Bruges and Amsterdam for all the Dutch towns or a town like Utrecht, with its central location and wondrous rail connections.
I usually now base in Haarlem and travel all over Holland by train from there - a neat old town with great museums, canals, etc and a lot cheaper for accommodations than Amsterdam. I stay in a nice B&B in town center run by a nice brother and sister for about 35 euros a night with all you can eat breakfast. Haarlem has wonderful rail links too.
Thank you very much PalenQ,
I've planned to stay in these places(each place about 1 day) which I've mentioned before. Would you like to give the name and the adress of B&B at Amsterdam?
I realize that these countries are small and adjcent - but the trip you have laid out is really a tour of the Benelux train stations. You will spend so much time training to and fro, finding places to stay and checking in and out that you will hve prctically no time to actually see anything.
In the limited time you have I would pick 2 towns and stay 4 nights in each one. Then spend a couple of days seeing that town and do one day trip before moving on to the next.
