Ben Haines London suggestions.
I have searched for threads on London. I notice a fodorite by the name of Ben Haines used to post alot of great alot of great information about London (and Europe).
Sadly, Ben Haines has passed away.
I wasn't using fodors when Ben Haines was posting informtion.
I will visit London later this year, I have been there numerous times.
Could fodorites who did benefit from Ben Haines suggestions about London please direct to a thread or two that I should check before I head to London this year.
Also, I know Ben Haines, used to email fodorites with tips about London.
Do any fodorites have any of Ben's suggestions, to share?
I'd apprectiate any suggestions from fodorites.
Thanks in advance.

I just tried a search on Ben Haines London and turned up a bunch of threads to which he contributed.
Talk about a guy who knew his stuff and shared it graciously and generously, it was the fantastic Ben Haines.
The world lost a valuable citizen when Ben left us. Ask about rail travel, and Ben knew. Ask about London, and Ben was in his element.
He helped me more than he knew.

He gave me directions to the Albert Pub and Restaurant as being in walking distance for lunch after attending the morning service at Westminster Abbey.
He also sent me a walking tour for the south bank. I think I have it printed off somewhere, but I don't have it on-line.
