B&B in Rome? Should we stay in Trastevere?

Jump to last reply

We will be in Rome for 5 days/ 4 nights in June - family of 5 (3 young adults and us, in our early 50s). We usually stay in 4 star hotels when traveling, but that is just when it is the 2 of us, so we are looking at B&Bs to keep cost down since we will need 2 rooms. Looked into doing an apartment, but would have had issue with storing luggage when our flight arrives in early AM, and also want maid service. Looking into a B&B in Trastevere (Arco dell'Auro - right near the river so close to Jewish Ghetto)? Or should we aim for a more central location? Also thought maybe hotel near Termini would be less expensive, but not sure we would really want to stay in that area. Any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated.
