Bavaria Trip report (with 2 year old!)
Just wanted to share how our awesome trip to Germany and Austria went. I decided to share in the form of a short video... Part 1 is finished and covers our first three days in Fussen.
Our stay started in mid September. We had almost perfect weather the entire time, except the day when we visited Linderhof.
The first day was spent mostly relaxing at the park & lake across the street and checking out Fussen (which was one of our favorite cities on the trip). We just loved the mix of mountains, farmlands, cows, and small little windy roads(gps a must!). Then the next day we checked out the castles. Zac handled most of the day pretty well... got a little too tired after the hike up to Marienbrücke... which was disappointing because I was sooo looking forward to the hike past it to grab the those postcard pics of the castle!
anyway here is the video!

Part 2: will cover mittenwald, zugspitze, G.P, Alpine road, etc.
hopefully that will be done in a couple weeks!

Very nice video work; looking forward to more. I am wondering what permissions you needed to use the music you used. My husband put some videos on YouTube using copyrighted music and it was pulled...he ended up having to compose his own music.

We always take our own GPS. We bought a Nuvi that has both European and North American maps. It has been a life saver IMO. Before leaving home, we pre-program our GPS with our hotel addresses and any other sights we know we will be visiting.

What a fun, innovative way to do a trip report! We are bringing our son with us to Italy this summer when he will be 19 months. Any tips for plane entertainment? We took him to Greece as a 7 month old but there is a world of difference...!
