Barcelona to Madrid

Jump to last reply

We are going to be in Barcelona for 3 days and will be going to Madrid for 2 days before taking the night train to Lisbon on the 5th night.

What is the best way to get from Barcelona to Madrid - by bus or train?

Would one be better than the other if we travelled during the night? We were thinking bus as it is 8 hours and we would get to sleep on it during the night v/s train which is only 2hrs 43 min.

Also is it worth taking the train for the views during the day?

Lastly, what would be a good bus to book from Barcelona to Madrid?

Thanks for your help in advance.
