BARCELONA TO GIRONA AIRPORT NIGHTMARE HELP!

Hello!

I recently booked flights to Barcelona with Ryanair, I realised that we actually landed in Girona and briefly researched this, most websites said that there was always transport via the Barcelona bus to and from the airport, so I didn't worry and went ahead and booked.

Now I look into it more I have found various timetables for this bus and given the face that our flight home is at 6.25am on a Sunday I cannot find any information to say that there actually is one available to get us to the airport early enough for our flight home.

I;m seriously stressed and starting to go blind from staring at the computer trying to resolve this, has anyone been and had an early Sunday flight back? Are there actually busses or am I basically screwed?

I would really appreciate some help from a reliable and concrete source, I've searched the Barcelona Bus website and the Sagales website, and it looks like both only have later busses on a sunday! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Thanks

There are busses ! http://www.sagales.com/pubdocs/3971_...2-06-(604).pdf
They leave from Barcelona bus station, Estacion del Nord, near Arc de Triumf

It says the earliest one is at 5.45am on a Sunday though, given that my flight is at 6.25am and I have an 1 hour 15 min trip from barcelona I'm gonna miss my flight

The earliest bus isn't going to get you to the airport on time. Why not stay in Girona the night before your flight and take a taxi to the airport.

That's what I was thinking, I was hoping there might be a bus somewhere because most webistes say that the busses coincide with Ryanair flights so I thought I would be fine!

Sorry, I misread and thought your flight was at 6.25 pm.
No other solution than to spend the night in Girona. There is a hotel just in front of the airport - Hotel Vilobi - no frills but very clean. No need to take a shuttle (which may not operate at 5 or 5.30 am) or a taxi to get to the airport.

Have you seen this site?
http://www.barcelona-girona-airport....Girona-airport

The schedule shows a 3:15 bus departure from Barcelona.

Caveat... This does not seem to be the site of a company actually providing the transportation and the schedule would have to be verified.

yeah i've seen this, its does say 3.15 but it doesnt really specify any days!

I've booked a cheap hotel in Girona (10 mins from the airport) that is free to cancel in case i do actually find a bus but it seems unlikely now, nothing seems to be up to date or consistent. I hope someone else sees this post and checks before booking! It's been crazy trying to sort this out, it's gonna be an ACTUAL epic journey.

Were starting in newcastle then getting the mega bus to london (7 hours) then from London were heading to stanstead (1 hour) then flying to Girona, then getting the bus to Barcelona, then back to Girona, flights to stanstead, then back to London for our mega bus back to newcastle! mental!

10 minutes to get to the airport from the center of Girona (12 km)is a bit optimistic. I'd count 20 to 25.

I'm just gonna book a cab nice and early, i'm always more on the cautious side! i'd rather get to the airport from Girona center than try and get there on time from Barcelona!

It would appear that sometimes Ryanair isn't as good a deal as it seems.

SOMEONE COMMENTED on this timetable saying:

Just had to pay 150€ to Girona Airport as these bus times do not exist. Use this site- http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.c...l#barcelonabus

Most people have also commented that you cannot trust the time
