BARCELONA - SHOULD WE PURCHASE TICKETS NOW, ONLINE, TO AVOID LONG LINES?
Trying to be time efficient with our short stay in Barcelona. ...Are there specific tours/ tickets/ that you recommend we purchase online NOW before our trip at the end of this month. If possible, we would like to avoid long lines.
From La Boqueria area, Placa Catalunya, how would we use public transportation and travel to El Barri Gotic and Born Ribera areas OR ARE THEY WALKING DISTANCE?

Do you have a map? Have you looked at it?
Get a Metro Map - there's an app for it too.
The Barri Gotic borders La Rambla on the north (Barcelona street maps are essentially tilted so that the bottom direction is east). El Born (the more common name) is north again of Barri Gotic - on the far side of Via Laietana from Barri Gotic.
WALKING DISTANCE depends upon the walker. For an average person, walking distance spans from La Bocqueria to the Arc de Triomf.

What is with all the shouting. You've been getting plenty of responses to your other questions so I don't see the need - you're not being ignored.
I'm not sure how much time you'll have to see the sights since you're planning on a day or two on a bus plus you want beach time.
You can walk to the Bari Gotic.
You really need a map. I thought the Rough Guide map was better than the Streetwise.

You can walk around "central" Barcelona fairly easily. Most places of interest are walkable from Placa Catalunya if that is where you are staying
Barri Gotic, La Rambla, most of the main Gaudi buildings are all walkable from Placa Catalunya
You will need to get a metro if you want to go up to Parc Guell. Enter at Place Catalunya, exit at Vallcarca
