Barcelona Parking at Sagrada Familia

Hello, we pick up our rental car at Sants Estacio, then are going to Sagrada Familia, then up to costa Brava. Where do we park at Sagrada Familia? it is on Saturday, 7/22. I can't seem to find this online. Thank you!

See : https://parclick.com/
There are two parking places near Sagrada familia : NN Valencia, Calle Valencia and BSM Sagrada Familia, Calle Mallorca.

There is one just one block away:

Personally, I'd prefer to use the Metro to get to Sagrada Familia and then to Sants to pick up the car after the visit.

I agree with the old Cowboy. It can be touchy if you're carrying luggage in the rental car.

Why? car parks usually have CCTV and patrols. A lot of people have luggage or things like laptops or other things in cars.
A worry about nothing.

I can't imagine driving around the Sagrada Familia. Very crowded. But I also can't imagine dragging luggage around the church.

Could you leave the luggage at the car rental office, either before or after you actually sign up for the car, take the metro to Sagrada Familia and back from the car rental office, then drive out of Barcelona?

Car rental office may look after your luggage or may not.
They are not a baggage storage facility.
Imagine if a lot of their customers asked for this. Most offices are not huge and usually only have a counter desk a WC and that is it. Where would they put them all?
If they do hold things for you they will not be held responsible for them.

Luggage is not allowed in Sagrada Família. It's also doubtful the rental agency would look after the luggage. You would have to find someplace to park it.

As far as security in a parking garage goes, I wouldn't depend on CCTV or patrols. They will simply tell you they are not responsible for anything left in the car. Make sure you have the right insurance coverage.

For th car park at Sagrada Família - http://garatgesagradafamilia.com/en
Aparcament Mercat Sagrada Família parking - http://www.aparcamentsbsm.cat

There are at least a dozen more car parks within a 10-minute walk.

If you're staying at a hotel, ask the hotel to keep your luggage for you while you go to the Sagrada. Pick up the car and retrieve your luggage. Tip the guy at the desk when you return.
