Barcelona Metro/Bus Pass Question

Jump to last reply

Couple questions about the Barcelona passes/10 trip books, etc.
My husband and I will be in Barcelona for 3/4 of a day and then 1/2 of the next day. We haven't yet decided if we'll just sightsee by jumping on the Turistic Bus (expensive!)or just catching Metro and an occasional bus. To get to our hostal, we'll probably take the Aerobus to Pl. Catalunya.
We plan to do the usual things in Barcelona. If you buy the 10 trip booklet (or whatever) of tickets, can two people share them? Also, I notice there are zones on some tickets - is zone 1 sufficient for most tourist places in Barcelona, or do I need to purchase something for zone 2? (I guess the farthest place we plan to go is Parc Guell.) Also, can you use any of these passes or tickets on the Aerobus, or is that a completely separate form of transportation. I looked at the TMB web site, and while fantastic, it didn't answer these questions. Any help you can give me would be great.
