Barcelona-Habitat Apartments-Eixample area

I am travelling in April to Barcelona for a 2 week holiday. Looking at apartments in Eixample area. Has anyone stayed in either of there apartments and/or the location?

Hello!
did you book in the end? I just saw that message now, otherwise I would have definitely recommend to you Unic apartment. It has very good reviews on Flipkey: http://www.flipkey.com/barcelona-condo-rentals/p127079/

We stayed at one of their apartments earlier this month. There were a few issues, and I filled out an survey after our stay. Habitat emailed me for further explanation, which I provided. I now see that despite my giving good numerical reivews 8 and 9/10; they did not put my review on the apartment listing. I had a legislate concern and upon closer review, I see that someone a month earlier listed the same issue. They said in reply to THAT review, they would take care of it. Clearly, they did not. I am sorry that their customer service was not up to par, because overall the apartment was really nice.

I don't think I would use Habitat Apartments again since they did not post my review. Only publishing favorable reivews is unacceptable.

When booking accommodation anywhere in Catalunya.
Look or ask for before booking for the Licence number. This company is actually breaking local regulations by not publishing the Licence number for each apartment on this website.
Check if the accommodation is legal or not on this website.

The apartment was legal, I checked before renting. Not sure at this point what that matters.

Deb.... we rented from Habitat some years ago...I did not post a review, but did write to them about
some issues. Never received a response.
Too bad.

I stayed in a different one in Eixemple and while the apt was satisfactory, I also had some customer services issues. They didn't ruin my stay, but I was not happy. I got a completely different apt than I had booked. It was in the same building and was acceptable, but I had the confirmation printed out that showed I had a different apt. Didn't matter, they said well that one isn't available. I wasn't sure whose fault it was -- Habitat or the agency running the building.

They did publish my review, actually, I gave them an 8.8, it's the second one down for this one
