Barcelona an extra night or ? Madrid
We are in Barcelona for 2 nights, thinking we should stay an extra night. Originally we were going to spend a night in Madrid since we are flying out of there. I am wondering if it would be worth the hassle of getting into the city for one night. We are leaning towards using our extra day in Barcelona, for a total of 3 nights. ANy thoughts on Madrid vs. Barcelona? Thanks for suggestions.

If you're flying out of Madrid, then it only reasonable to spend at least one night in the city. You'll find it very interesting and maybe the next time you'll decide to spend a little more time in both Barcelona and Madrid.

I can go either way actually. There is so much to do in Barcelona and I know for me, the 2.5 days we spent there last year were not enough. and we'd love to go back again some day. I'm with Robert in that if your flight is early you'll probably want to spend the night before in Madrid. and yes, you will get a small flavor for Madrid and you'll likely want to go back there too Hope this helps! and enjoy!
