I would take a cab, you may have to take 2 cabs, (aprox 30 euros per cab} to the port, and check in your luggage, Then you can take the local bus, which stops at the terminal, about every 10 minutes,to take you back into town, get off at the bottom of Las Ramblas, you can walk up there,( See thatyour valuables are hidden) or wait for the Hop on & off red bus for a tour, approx 25 euro.}its avery good tour.
