TR Provence, Israel, Switzerland, Italy..April 16 a day of AA infamy

i would recommend the aquarium at Port Vell, it has plenty to see and an activity section at the end ( and more importantly possibly a restaraunt area to sit down and relax). Just opposite is Maremagnum shopping centre, although it wasn't huge and we were a little disappointed.
A short ride on the metro or 15 min walk (toddler paced) will take you to Parc de la Ciutadella where you can hire a rowing boat and feed the ducks, or even hunt for the mammoth!
If you can manage it by taxi perhaps - Park Guell is a must, pack a picnic and its a day well spent in the sun wih plenty of shade and things to explore.
Toilets were hard to find so make sure they go when you find one! Parc du Citudella has one behind the refreshment stall by the amazing Cascada fountain. Enjoy your stay and keep plenty of spare change for all the living statues!
