Looking for any suggestions for places to get a good banh mi hopefully somewhere near or in the 11th or the 3rd. Thought I read about a great little place where they had fabulous banh mi, but now I can't seem to find it.
Also any recs for coucous, same areas.
Thanks!

Right across from the entrance to the Tang Frères supermarket at 48 avenue d'Ivry is one of the best places for banh mi. But the Tang Gourmet shops also make good banh mi -- I've been to the ones at 188 avenue de Choisy (Place d'Italie) and also at 8 rue de Belleville (metro Belleville).
Belleville is also an excellent area for getting couscous but frankly you can find couscous restaurants all over Paris. For the fancier versions, you might want to go to one of the Chez Bébert restaurants.
Thanks! Beautiful day, huh?
