Bags on the K-D Rhine cruise?
Is it practical to bring our bags on the K-D Rhine cruise with us? They are airplane carry-on size.
We are travelling from North to South that day, and I am wondering if we should take the train all the way to Bacharach, stow our bags in a locker, take the boat north to St.Goar, returning to Bacharach by train for the bags. OR if we could just take the bags with us on the boat southward St.Goar to Bacharach.
On a similar note, is a ride on the "historical" boat worth arranging our day around?

I see from the other thread that you are getting a rail pass. If you are planning to use it for the "bonus" river trip, be aware that it is only valid on K-D boats, not on those of their affiliates listed in the timetable.
Don't ask how I know.
