Back home problems with sim card

Jump to last reply

Last summer I got AT&T to unlock my phone (have been with them since I had my first bag phone) and purchased a sim card in a Tesco in Dublin. Everything worked beautifully until I came home, put in the old sim card and found that I had lost all my contacts. I even took it to the AT&T store and they were as clueless as I. Fortunately I had an old-fashioned analog piece of paper with the names and numbers but it was a pain to re-enter all that.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong and how to avoid this on the next trip?
