Trip Ideas
Go out and discover Paris rather than making a list.
If you do need something in the 1st arrondissement, go to rue Coquillère where there is a string of a half dozen places to eat, starting with La Taverne Karlsbraü (formerly Maître Kanter) and finishing with Au Pied de Cochon. (In between, there is the Georgian restaurant Deda, l'Acajou des Volcans and a few other places.)
thanks,i'm closer to the louvre and opera[in between].my plane gets in around 11 am.probably check in around 12:30.will take your advice 2nd.day.any recs for 1st.day lunch close to opera or lourve?thanks
Don't worry about it! There are tons of places. Nobody can possibly recommend a place without knowing what you like and how much you want to spend. 10€? 20€? 50€? 80€?
I think that 15€ is enough for a normal simple meal, but some people spend more than that on an appetizer.
"my plane gets in around 11 am.probably check in around 12:30."
If you land at 11 AM you probably won't be to your hotel until 1:30 or even later . . . .
