Audrey Tatou, a new film

Out in November, she stars in a film of a book I read and that I think maybe someone from this forum recommended to me.
"Ä Very long Engagement"

Merci, Mimi
I saw the coming attractions when we were in Portland in September.
I hope I won't have to go all the way to Portland to see it

Mimi, do you recommend the book? It'll probably take a long time (if ever) for the film to get to Pgh.! You have the same problem where you live, Scarlett?

good, mon ami, I always check there for coming films to see if I'm interested because even if you live someplace that doesn't show these films, but also there are techinical and financial reasons why we , here in boston can't see all. Eventually you can rent or buy through, facets.org

The film is directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who also directed "Amelie". It premiered last week in France will be out in limited release in the US in November.

You ought to try living in Vacaville, CA which is a restful place to live however wanting to see an interesting film is not possible.

Only hope is to go to SF or wait until the DVD comes out and than rent it.
My complaint of the evening.

Grandmere. Join Netflix. I can get some movies almost as soon on DVD as I can travel to Squirrel Hill or Edgewood to see them. And some never make it here.

Ditto on Netflix. They have the most foreign films! And if you are into British TV, they have all the British series on DVD.

British series on TV????? Eeep, eep!

So I could see Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere? Droooooooooooool.

Statia told me about Netflix awhile ago. I think I need to seriously consider using them.

Beatchick, I'm not sure about that series, but my son rents all th AbFab, Hetty Wainthrop, and several more. The next best thing is that they just lowered the monthly fee to $17.99.

Well, crepes, it'd certainly be worth it just for AbFab, wouldn't it?? Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the heads up, it will probably be a while before we get it here in Orlando as well.

On a seperate note, I see that Chocolat is on A&E this evening at 8:00. Good because our next trip is to the Dordogne!

And a more seperate note to Mimi, is that your question in the NYTimes today's travel section?
