Has anyone taken a transfer from the airport into the city using Backpacker's Travel shuttle? They are quoting me a price of 20 euros. Is this comparable with a taxi?
It seems so easy to pre-arrange someone picking us up at the airport and taking us right to our (apparently hard to find) hotel, rather than negotiating with a taxi.
Any thoughts????

This company has been active self-advertising against Trip Advisor rules, and is rather shunned by the destination experts. however, no one has heard anything negative about them.
E20 is a reasonable fare, if you are going to sultanahmet area or Taksim. Taxi would be just slightly less. There are also airport shuttles you can find on the net, which are E8-10 per person.
Thank you so much for your suggestion...I will try to research the airport shuttle and see what I come up with...
