Hello again Peter. I will be driving to Stockholm from the West Coast after staying and eating at some of the places you recommended to me in your e-mail and have two nights reserved at this "Countryside hotel". Just wondering if the hotel is nice, the stop is worthwhile, etc.
Thanks
P.S.Any recommendations for Goteborg??

Hi
Both Radisson-SAS hotels and the Sheraton were popular places to stay.
Novotel is in a great location and Hotel 11 is very interesting (built inside an old ship building assembly hall).
For something a little different, you could try this : http://www.thorskogsslott.se/
It is 40 Swedish miles (about 25m) north of GOT on the Gota river. A rural castle with good food. You will need a car.
