ASAP answer appreciated - Anybody know if Air France holds back seats, or did I miss out?
Hi. I'm trying to book FF seats in April on AF, and it seems like all the Th-F-S-S seats are not available. When I look at May and June, they're also gone for those days.
Does anyone have experiences with this - meaning, is the airline holding the seats for a later release, or did I just miss the mad dash? I need to make a change asap if they're all gone...
Thanks.

I didn't book my trip for last November until the end of June and got seats on Delta/Air France . But I was able to be flexible and willing to fly with partner airlines. And yes, FF seats do open up later in the year. I booked this years Nov.'s trip around the last of June ..no problems there either.

Just a follow-up in case anyone is wondering..yes, AF DOES release additional seats at a later date (well, at least for April). I went ahead and booked my trip, then a month later checked again and found a better time. So I paid my $50 and changed the ticket.

I have accumulated a lot of FF miles on Air France and know how frustrating it can be to use them! Here are two things that have worked for me:
First, try phoning rather than using their website to book FF seats. On several occasions I have gotten FF reservations over the phone even when the website showed nothing was available.
Second, even if you don't succeed on your first phone call, keep trying every few days, as seat availability changes all the time.
Bonne chance!
