Artus Hotel

Has anyone ever stayed at the Artus Hotel? This hotel came highly recommended to me and I am trying to find something at or near the 6th Arondissment (sp?) for my September two day trip to Paris. I need a nice hotel close to Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, the Louvre $200 Euros or under.

Thanks!

There was a good-sized post on this hotel not long ago on this site; try a search. It's apparently very modern in décor now.

Make a reservation somewhere very soon; September is difficult because of the fashion shows.

The Artus and la Villa are both in excellent locations..very moderne! Try this website for all the hotels with availabilty in the 6th ..all are well located. We've stayed at the Millesime, Verneuil, Danube, d"angleterre and have been most satisfied with all of them. Also try the Regent .. Patrick always gives it a plus..and he is very mush up to date on Paris.

Jody,

When you say the Regent are you referring to Le Regent in the LAtin Quarter? Just want to be sure.

THanks.

It's the one on Rue dauphine, really St Germain . not the Latin Quarter. Patrick always recommends it very highly, and I trust his judgement. we've peeked into the lobby and picked up a brochure, very nice. He also recommends getting a superior room to be sure of larger quarters.
