Art Supplies in France

Does anyone know whether there is an art supply store in St.Remy? Arles? I will need to find the equivilent of "Turpenoid" (oderless turpentine).
I know Europeans often use "white mineral spirits", but that is really toxic and strong smelling.

There is a large art supply store about fifteen minutes from St Remy -
La Palette d'Art in Noves. They carry just about everything and anything.. canvas, paints, brushes, frames, etc.

Phone number is 04 90 94 25 42

There is another much smaller art supply place in Arles. I can't remember the name (which is odd, because I'm in there all the time).
It's down past the old theater.

Many, many thanks, Patricia.
I really appreciate your help.

Would you happen to know what the
stuff I am looking for would be called in French?

No I don't... but I plan to be at the Palette d'Art tomorrow to pick up something I had framed. I'll try to remember to ask !

They have several kinds of odorless products in varying sizes at the Palette d'Art- white spirit, solvent and
turpentine

PBProvence: Do you paint or draw, or do you go to these stores mainly for framing? (Just curious, because I used to draw constantly, so I like to know who else does.)
