Arriving in Milan then to Florence - Need Help with Train

Jump to last reply

We arrive on a Thirsday at 10:45 a.m. In early October In Milan. We then will catch the train to Milano Centrale to take the high speed train to Florence. I know the train to Milano Centrale takes about 45 minutes. I would like to buy my Trentalia tickets in advance (to save money) but am unsure how much time to allow to get through customs and then to Milano Centrale. Or should I just buy them when I arrive at the station and pay whatever the price is. We are two adults traveling with carry-ons - no checked luggage. Your suggestions please. Thanks!
