4 nights in Segovia leading up to Easter Sunday. We have decided that San Idelfonso, Avila and Pedraza are going to be our targeted trips side trips. I would really like to get to Toledo for a day, dinner and a late night stroll, too, so that might take up a whole day. I'll need to convince my traelling companions that the drive is worth it - probably by offering to be the designated driver for the late return trip.
Does anyone have favourite sites in those places - restaurants, vistas, historic sites, etc. to suggest as must sees?
What about some other sites in the area, or on the way that could be worked into the Thursday, Good Friday, and Saturday of Semana Santa?
Thanks.

Don't neglect El Escorial, one of Europe's most fantastic palaces, and the nearby Valley of the Fallen, a self-engrandizing monument to Fascist Franco.
Here is a report of my trip last year which included Toledo, Segovia, Pedraza, and Caceres; maybe you can dig out some useful information.

Also, here are a few photos of Pedraza.
