Argolis and Delphi, too much?

Hi. We are going to be in Athens the first 2 days of our trip then on to a couple of islands for 6 days. The last 2 full days we will be back in Athens flying out mid-day on the 3rd day. We were thinking of doing some guided tours with George the Taxi Driver to Argolis area one day and then to Delphi the following. Do you think this is too much? Will we be exhausted? Should we only do one if so which one? BTW we are early 40's and active people. Thanks.

If you're flying out mid-day on your last day (3 pm ??), you'd probably have to be at airport around 1pm.

That is not enough time to go to either Delphi or Argolid ...

Maybe consider an overnight stay at Naufplio on the previous day? The "old" venetian portion of Naufplio, on the argolid bay, is lovely.

Or maybe just have a relaxing last morning in Athens, or a drive along the coast to Cape Sounion?

No we land in Athens at 7:30 am from Santorini and would plan to go directly on the tour that day. Drop off at our hotel in Athens that night. We also have the entire next day and night in Athens and then fly out around 1pm the following day. My question is doing two days of back to back tours too much? Thanks

If I had the time and money, I would do both trips. I seriously doubt you would be exhausted.

I highly recommend both trips, or an overnight in beautiful Napflion.
You will not be exhausted, just happy that you included these antiquities.

Check out http://www.athens-tours.gr/ Jordan Daioglou "Private Taxi Tours All Over Greece". Just give him a looksee and compare with George. They are both good, but we were with Jordan and did Delphi. Had a great time met his very nice family and were treated well. So much we will be with him this week. He had recommended a day trip to Argolis, half day trip to Cape Sounion because we have been to Athens several times before discovering him. He does have extened tours of Athens.
