Arcos or Ronda if at all

I'm visiting southern Spain and Portugal for two weeks and am going to be travelling from Granada to Seville. I'm wondering if it's worth while to stop in either Arcos or Ronda and if so which one. Is it satisfying enough to take a scenic bus or train through on the way to Seville? If I spend a night in the White Hill Towns, I lose a night in Portugal.

Thanks for your advise.

Perhaps my web page on our trip to southern Spain can help you decide what to visit.

Ditto to Ronda! I also enjoyed the small streets of Arcos.

A fourth vote for Ronda. The drive up the mountains into the town is both hair-raising and spectacular. Two great restaurants at the Parador, overlooks the gorge; and Tragabuches whose chef was voted Best Young Chef in Spain. Also a great town to knock around in...Enjoy!

The first vote for Arcos. I'm a big fan of the pueblos blancos and Arcos is one of them. It's also still a little less touristy than Ronda.

I have a similar question. If you do Granada-Ronda-Seville-Cordoba, do you need a car after arriving in Seville?

I vote for Ronda. We absolutely loved it. Great views, must have at least fifty pictures of the bridge/gorge.

Greg, a car is only an impediment in Sevilla. He had to keep ours since Sevilla was around the middle of our vacation. It went into the hotel garage and we never saw it again until check out.

We personally liked Arcos better, but look into the Parador in Rhonda. It is gorgeous! www.paradores.com.
