Apartments in Rome with DSL
My husband and I will be visiting Rome in early December for 10 days. It is our first trip there. We would like to rent an apartment so that we get more of a "native" experience. Location is key, of course, but for him it is more important that he have broadband access to be able to interface with the office. He will need DSL access (either plug-in or wireless). Any ideas?

I checked out the rental site and that unit is not listed. I have sent an email but so far no answer from the agency. So.... I am still looking for help?
In case we can't get what we want, are internet cafes ubiquitous or hard to come by? How about wireless areas?

Internet Cafes are plentiful in major Italian cities (even minor ones!). Internet Train is only one of a few chains of internet points. Below is link from their website that lists their locations in Rome:

I used Internet train in Florence, they were really great, quiet, and you could settle down and get some work done if necessary.
Some cafes and even laundromats have internet points - you just plop in a coin and get 15 minutes or so. My favorite was in Tazza D'Oro near the Pantheon!
Good luck in your search!
