Apartments in Rome

Jump to last reply

I recently found a website called "Ron in Rome" and read that unless you arrange with an apartment owner to inspect an apartment rental upon check out you will NOT get your deposit monies back.

is this true? That really alarms me since deposits are hefty amounts. Has anyone ever experienced this unfortunate circumstance? Was it through an agency? A private rental?

My follow up question is, of course....please send me recommendations for an apartment rental in Rome!

I am looking for 3 bedrooms as we are 5 adults. Air conditioning a must and outdoor space would be fantastic!

In terms of area - we are first time visitors to Rome, so am unsure which neighborhood is ideal, but am thinking the historic center?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading.
