Apartments in Antalya, Turkey

I am going to Turkey for the month of April 2002. I plan to spend most of the time (3-4 weeks) in Antalya.

Due to the length involved, I cannot afford to pay $60-70 plus for hotel room per day. Also, I want to cook some of my own meals, so need apartment type with refrigerator and stove. I know in some countries in Eastern Europe, such apartments can be had for $10-25 per day if rented on a monthly basis. That is what I am looking for.

Most of those type places are probably too small to have web sites. I have tried to find on internet and have come up empty.

So I am appealing to those of you who might have some 'inside info' on this situation. It would be nice if anyone had e-mail addresses of such places, or even better e-mail of some private person in Antalya who would like to earn some money by picking me up at airport, scouting out an apartment for me, taking me there, perhaps tour me around in car a day or so, and take me back to airport.

Please help, ))

Hal
[email protected]

Hi Hal,
Are you planning to stay in the city of Antalya or in one of this surrounding holiday resorts? I assume the latter, so if you say where exactly it'll help more. To give you a rough idea, there are lots of apart hotels in Alanya. But I am not fond of there myself. I believe you can find time-share apartments/villas in more or less everywhere in Antalya, especially during April as it is not the time preferred by the Turkish tourists. Prices would depend on the quality of the holiday village. If course if you find one or more companions to share it, it can be quite cheap for you.
