Trip Report Apartment Review - Budapest

We (2 adults and 2 teenage daughters) recently returned from 7 weeks in Europe, which included 6 days in Budapest.. In Budapest we stayed in the Golden Star Dream Apartment (http://www.goldenstarsapartments.com/goldenstars-budapest-apartment.html) and found it to be one of the three best apartments we stayed in throught our trip. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in Budapest. It is located on the 4th floor (with a lift) near the Old Market at the end of Vaci Utca, close to public transport. The apartment is newly renovated, tastefully furnished and impeccably clean. Facing onto an internal courtyard it is very quiet. The living room is spacious and has sufficient lighting to read by at night - something we often find lacking in apartments. A laptop was provided which made keeping in touch with family very easy.
The master bedroom is very large with a king sized bed while the second bedroom is smaller, with the queen bed taking up most of the space. The kitchen is narrow with an eat-in section at the end. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and also has a washing machine (great for extended travels)!
We used the optional airport transfers - which made arriving at night really easy.
The owner, Tomas, was easy to deal with over the internet and charming and helpful upon arrival.
We would definately stay here again if we returned to Budapest and have no hesitations recommending it to others!
