Apartment for two couples- Paris in the spring 2008

Hello,

We are planning a trip to Paris in the spring of 2008-- an early start. There will be 4 adults ( 2 couples) ages 32-35. I have been looking at many of the apartments online. Most of the two bedrooms feature 1 bedroom with a king or queen bed and the 2nd bedroom with two twin beds set apart. Does anyone know of any apartments that offer beds together any size in both rooms? We are looking the Le Marais area. We want to stay in an apartment to have a common area to meet and relax after the afternoon and feel this is the best route to take. We are open to suggestions.

PS. our price range is about 1500 euro a week or less---2 bedrooms, common area and 1 1/2 bathrooms. We are also open to other areas.

Thank you,

Robyn

I love looking on www.vrbo.com. Choose Europe, then Ile de France - Paris, and have a ball looking at all the apartments.

Hope you find your dream apartment for a week!

Enjoy!

Hey! I am leaving for Paris tomorrow and we are actually staying in a 2 bedroom apartment, 1 and 1/2 bath apartment in the Latin Quarter. I can let you know how it is when we get back! Some apartments offer all full beds although most of the ones we found were twins that can be put together! All you do is use a fitted sheet to keep them together! This is the apartment-no pictures just yet.

Another one we were considering:

More info when I return...whats your email Robyn??

I've used vacation in paris before. If the new apartment is anything like the one we rented, you won't be disappointed. The web description was entirely accurate, and the local staff (Rene, if my memory serves me) was very helpful when a small problem arose with the hot water heater. It was up and running by 10:00a.m Monday morning (called on Sunday afternoon

I've been looking for the same arrangement for a future trip so I'll be keeping an eye on this thread! I'd also love an apartment where both rooms have the same view as well as a large bed!

quinnr - I'm renting an apartment from Rentparis this summer (the owners - Fabrice & Jean Pierre - are friends of a friend of mine and I've read nothing but good reviews of them, so they're trustworthy).

They have a beautiful 2-bedroom in Le Marais that other people have posted great reviews of - http://www.rentparis.com/details.php?l=en&id=39. It's well within your price range, and the guys seem lovely.

Do a Google search for "13 rue Rambuteau" and you can see some reviews.

Have a great time!

kwren,

when are you planning this trip? We are hoping to go in April 2008, if I find anything I will let you know and if you find anything I would appreciate any tips.

apersuader65- is there more than one apartment to choose from?

thanks,
robyn

We aren't going until June of 2008 either Glad to see I'm not the only one enjoying planning in advance! Our family is two adults / two kids, but one on my maybe list has twin beds that are "combinable" are vrbo 74872 near Lux gardens (don't know about the baths though). We are aiming closer to under 1000E for the week, but if you find any good ones that don't meet your two 'big bed' criteria, but meet my '2 beds for the kids' criteria that look good, I'd be interested

Hi robyn, we stayed in a great Le marais apartment with two separate sleeping areas with 2 double beds,(is that what you meant?) it was really lovely and overlooking a little french courtyard- very Marie Antionette! this is a gorgeous place to stay:
