How convenient is this to the main sites of Madrid? I found an old post of Maribel's stating that she has stayed there. The location is Comandante Zorita 27-31, Madrid 28020.

Hi AP6380,
I've stayed at the apartments several times in order to be close to family who live and work in the northern business section of Madrid-as a resident for a month, not to sightsee. I've also lived in that area.
The P.B. is not convenient to the main sites. You would need to take bus 5 from Orense or several bus lines from the Castellana, the metro from Nuevos Ministerios or Estrecho (requiring line changes, so taking at least 20 min. to downtown) or taxi (6 €) to get back and forth for sightseeing.
For short stays in Madrid, I recommend that folks stay much closer to downtown.
