anyone used edreams website to book travel?
I stumbled across edreams via igougo.com and their prices were about $100 less than other sites. Has anyone used them to book airfare?

Hi,
I used edreams recently to book a flight from Dublin to Copenhagen on SAS airlines. Got my email confirmation from edreams, turned up to the airport, checked in but when I got to the gate the lady said I needed a coupon from edreams and that the ticket was not valid. Basically SAS had not received payment from edreams. SAS would not let me get on the plane. I was gutted. I have tried to complain to edreams but the email address does not work. I got an email directing me to a page with the same address in Spanish??? Dodgy company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I used Edreams during Christmas to book a flight from Barcelona to Rome and I had no problem at all. The price they quoted was the same I got charged and received a great discount compared to other websites. I absolutely recommend Edreams if you want to find great deals on flights.

I haven't booked on edreams but have booked on similar sites. I suggest that if you book with any discounter, right away call the airline you're scheduled on and confirm with that airline. If they have your reservation, there shouldn't be a problem. If they have no record of your reservation, you'll have time to deal with the discounter and/or with your credit card company, and you'll also have time to re-book your flight. So far, I've had no problem booking through discounters, but I always double check with the airlines involved.
