Anyone stayed at Bernini Palace in Florence? Nice alternatives for $350/nt?

Hi,
We're thinking of booking a "Family Room" at the Bernini Palace - we're a party of 3 (two adults and a teenager) , and our teen hates rollaway beds. We'd rather not stay in an apartment, as we like having breakfast in the hotel. Does anyone have experience with the Bernini Palace? What did you think? We stayed at the Luna Baglioni in Venice (in same hotel chain) and loved it. Any other high end hotels in the center of Florence you can recommend for $350 a night? Thanks!

This is an upscale B&B that serves excellent breakfasts. Right in the center of the historic district. They do have apartments, but we stayed in the B&B itself:

I never will because I think it is ridiculous to spend that amount of money for a hotel room. But -- someone needs to keep those folks in business.

I stayed at the Bernini a few years ago, just before they did their renovation. And it was gorgeous even then. Prices are out of my budget now, though. Lovely hotel.

It is probably not high end, but I have a reservation for a quad room(one king bed and two individual beds at Il Guelfo Bianco for 160 Euros a night. They also have a 2 bedroom apartment that was booked for the dates we needed at 180 Euros.
