I saw this B&B online, but was wondering if anyone knows of or has stayed at it. It is la casa del pescatore in Portovenere, Italy. It is actually on Palmaria Island. I would be interested to hear anything anyone might know abut it.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone know of La Casa Pescatore in Portovenere?

Hello gti,
I just looked at the Pescatore's website because your question stirred up memories of hiking around Isola di Palmaria some years ago. My biggest concern is that they did not post information to the most important question: how to get on and off the island easily.
If this can be answered to your satisfaction, I can tell you that the views from the island are magnificent, not only of Portovenere, but also of the Alpi Apuane, the razor like mountains that rise up from Carrara. If I remember correctly, the hike around the island was about two hours, and best done clockwise.
Have a wonderful trip. JQ
Thank you for your input JQ! Yes, that was the other thing I was wondering about, how easy and/or difficult it would be to travel back and forth from the island. Thank you also about telling me about the hike around the island, that may be something we'd be interested in doing.
