Good evening, Rachel The only place
that I could get information was on
www.holidaycityeurope.com/hotel-al-ponte,which only shows a couple of photos
but does not show the rating of the hotel. And in www.veniceinfo.it/., theVenice Hoteliers Assn., mentions
that the hotel is no longer member.
Could not find it in any other of the
couple of IT hotel sources. Have not
stayed there, it is in a very excellant
location, but you might get additioinal
information from some other source.
Richard of LaGrange Park, Il..

Hi Rachel,
We will be spending two nights there in late Sept. I have posted also, and had no responses from anyone who's stayed there, which makes me a little nervous. But it looks like a lovely place. When are you going? I will let you know how it was when I get back.
I found it in one of the travel magazines, and selected it mainly because it is a 4 star all suite hotel- only 8 suites. They do have a good website (just plug the hotel name in on Google search engine and it will give you the specific web address.)From the website I was able to e-mail them directly with some questions and they replied within 24 hours. Breakfast is included, however I do not believe they have a restaurant.
We're paying $380 per night, which was about the norm for all the 4 star hotels in Sept.(I checked out about 5 others) The Gritti was around $600. I booked through Costco Travel, but I suppose you could book directly with the hotel.
I believe the reason there may not be much info out there on this hotel is because they are recently opened?
I'm keeping my fingers crossed- perhaps we'll find the next "perfect" place in venice!!
DA
I would very much like details on this hotel when you get back.
I'll be in Venice in very early Oct, will be staying elsewhere, but there will be three of us and I tried my best to find "plus-sized" rooms.
Maybe that all-suite idea will work for me next time.

I'd love to hear from the people who have stayed at Hotel Ponte dei Sospiri as we will be in Venice the first week of June. The hotel looks great on their website. Thanks.
