i like the advice to travellers on the outside of the train shown on the last photo, telling them to bring their cameras because otherwise, they won't be believed.

And I too would ride the train just to ride the train! I can see myself riding to and fro from car to car.

even if you are not planning to go to Versailles, you can presumably enjoy this train by, say, boarding it at Notre dame/st. michel and riding up to the Musee D'orsay, so long as you get the Versailles rive Gauche train.
