Any tips or advice?

Hubby and I will be spending 10 days in March/April in Spain with the following itinerary. We like to see architecture, museums, churches, pretty much anything and everything. I really like the culture and excitement of the city and my husband loves to kick back on a beach so I hope we have covered the best of both worlds.

Arrive early Sunday AM in Madrid. Spend 4 nights in Madrid with a day trip to Segovia. We plan on visiting the palace and museums and as many city sights as possible. Thursday we will take a train to Malaga, rent a car and drive to Nerja for 4 nights. We plan on driving to Granada on Saturday morning to visit the Alhambra (already have tickets) and then back to Nerja that evening. We will probably drive up to Frigiliana and we also want to see the caves. I think we should also try to fit in a day sightseeing in Malaga. On Monday we take a late evening train back to Madrid, spend one night in a hotel near the airport and then fly back to the US the next morning. We are renting apartments in both cities except for the last night in Madrid.

Any advice or tips on must-sees and good restuarants would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
